Managed Network VPN Service
AT&T Managed Network VPN Service provides a cost-effective solution for establishing secure Wide Area Network (WAN) connectivity over shared IP network infrastructure (think Frame Relay with greater flexibility). With Managed Network VPN you can take advantage of the world-class security and reliability of the AT&T network while maintaining the look and feel of your own private network.

Connectivity

Our Managed Network VPN service family consists of two distinct services:

  • Site-to-site: enables WAN connectivity between an enterprise’s multi-user business LAN locations, including very small offices and Extranets, using any combination of Frame Relay, Private Line or DSL.
  • Remote Access: enables a telecommuter or mobile user to access the enterprise network, using any combination of Frame Relay, Private Line or DSL.

Benefits

AT&T features Multi Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) technology. Why MPLS? MPLS technology maximizes the flexibility of building and expanding Intranets and Extranets. MPLS supports scalable any-to-any connectivity allowing businesses of all sizes to benefit from this secure and reliable next generation network.

AT&T supports frame relay, private line and DSL dedicated connectivity for site-to-site applications, and a variety of Internet access for remote access applications including ISDN and DSL.

Managed Network VPN provides:
